Terms of
service

The plain-language version of what you're agreeing to when you rent a bin or buy material from us.

Last updated: September 4, 2026

These terms apply to every bin rental, aggregate sale and material delivery provided by Royal Bins & Disposal, a division of Litt Trucking Ltd. ("we", "us"). By renting a bin or buying material from us you agree to them. If we've signed a separate written agreement with you, that agreement wins where the two conflict.

1. Quotes and pricing

A quote is based on the information you give us — the material, the quantity and, for deliveries, the location. If the load that arrives differs materially from what was described, the price may change and we'll tell you before we proceed. Rates change with the market; a rate quoted by phone is valid for the visit it was quoted for unless we say otherwise.

2. Bin rental

  • The rental period and the weight allowance included with each bin size are the ones quoted to you when you book. Keeping the bin past the rental period is charged at the daily rate on your quote; loads over the weight allowance are charged per ton, weighed at a certified scale, with the ticket available on request.
  • Heavy material — concrete, asphalt, brick, stone and soil — may only be loaded into the sizes we designate for it. A bin loaded beyond what can be legally lifted and transported will not be collected until it is brought within limits, and the wait is chargeable.
  • Bins must be loaded level with the top rail. We cannot lawfully transport a bin loaded above the sides.
  • Prohibited items are listed on our what goes in the bin page. If prohibited material is found in a bin, we may return the bin to you or charge the cost of sorting, re-tipping or special handling.
  • You are responsible for making sure the drop and pickup location is accessible, legal and safe for a loaded roll-off truck, including overhead clearance, and for marking where you want the bin placed. If we arrive and cannot place or collect the bin, a dry-run charge applies.
  • A loaded bin is heavy and concentrates that weight on a small footprint. Driveways, walkways, lawns, septic systems, sprinkler lines and underground services can be damaged. We are not responsible for damage to private property caused by placing or collecting a bin at your direction. Ask for protective boarding when you book if the surface matters to you.
  • Placing a bin on a road, boulevard or other public property is the customer's responsibility to permit with the relevant municipality.
  • Once we collect a bin we supplied, lawful disposal of its contents is ours to arrange. We do not accept material dropped off at the yard by the public.

3. Aggregate sales, pickup and delivery

  • Material is sold as-is from stock on hand. Confirm the product and quantity when you order; naturally occurring and recycled aggregates vary, and colour or gradation within normal ranges is not a defect.
  • For pickups, you are responsible for loading within your vehicle's legal weight limits and for securing the load before leaving the yard.
  • For deliveries, you are responsible for making sure the delivery location is accessible, legal and safe for a loaded dump truck, including overhead clearance from wires and branches, and for marking the spot where you want the material. If we arrive and can't deliver, a dry-run charge applies.
  • We drop material where you direct us. Driveways, walkways, lawns, septic systems, sprinkler lines and underground services can be damaged by the weight of a loaded truck. We are not responsible for damage to private property caused by delivering material at your direction.

4. Cancellation and changes

For bin drops and material deliveries, cancel or reschedule at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled drop. Inside 24 hours, or if our truck is already dispatched, a dry-run charge applies.

5. Payment

Payment is due at the time of pickup or delivery unless you hold an approved account with net terms. Overdue balances accrue interest at the rate shown on the invoice. We may decline further service while an account is in arrears.

6. Liability

We carry commercial general liability insurance and maintain WSIB coverage; certificates are available on request. Except where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability arising from any transaction is limited to the amount you paid for that transaction, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or project delay.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.

8. Questions

Call (416) 700-1400 or email info@royalbinsdisposal.com. We'd rather explain a term before you come in than argue about it after.
